The department consists of highly skilled committed nephrologists, transplant surgeons and a large team of registrars. It is an academically well established, teaching /training institute for the super specialty of Nephrology and has to its credit to have trained more than ten nephrologists serving in various prestigious institutes of India.

The paramedical staff including dialysis technicians, nurses and housekeeping staff are well versed with their technical skills and perform equivalent to world’s best centers. It provides a full range of renal services including hospital hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and care for transplant recipients.

The day to day activity includes more than 90 hemodialysis, CAPD’s, 5-10 SLEDDs and approximately 3-5 CRRT procedures and 5-8 kidney biopsies and 10-20 temporary /permanent vascular access placements every week.
