A tertiary care unit with advanced equipment including high frequency ventilators caters to premature babies with special needs and those born after high – risk pregnancies such as following in vitro fertilization. The unit provides pre and postoperative management of neonatal emergencies.

The facilities provided in our Operation theatres and recovery rooms which adhere to the international standards are as follows:

1. Anesthetic machines giving adequate oxygen at all times/ Oxygen monitoring

2. Anesthetic gas monitors one of these is available in every theatre unmatched even in the developed world. These monitors let us use extremely low fresh gas flows lesser than 500mls resulting in extreme economy, and negligible theatre pollution.
